Bristlecone
We were on our way home from Arches and Lake Powell when we found these trees. They are probably the oldest living things on earth. Some are over 4000 years old. They grow at about the 10,000 ft. level, and I think the secret to their long life is lack of oxygen. There sure isn’t any air up there. It’s a waste of time to even try to inhale.
